Although the girl with tears perceived the separation from her past life, she was not against meeting a new one. The old man rushed in search, with his heart believed that she was aware of the mistake and would return. With great difficulty, he found his beloved only daughter, but Minsky threw the poor old man out the door, and his daughter said nothing to him. A small man with his characteristic impotence dropped his hands. In his house now there was no previous comfort and warmth, it became dull and gloomy. There were no letters from my native blood. He did not know how her life had developed. The old man gave vent to his gloom, washed down and died in complete solitude. The prodigal daughter, a few years after the death of a loved one, arrived. In the society of that time, he was forced to constantly grovel and endure resentment in order to survive, so his nature so wordlessly resigned to the loss. Samson Vyrin was not the only victim of Minsk, but the whole society, which responded with indifference to his grief.
