One evening, from a large apartment building, there were sounds of fun: Nora Walsh was having a wedding. And the sidewalk was crowded with a crowd. Jerry O’Donovan's cab stood at the curb. Jerry himself has just visited a nearby cafe.
A young woman stepped out of the crowd and headed for the cab. When asked where to go, she replied that anywhere. Jerry offered to ride her in the park. In the park, Jerry suggested going to the casino. The woman went inside, and Jerry took his place among the other crews.
Two hours later she went out and the walk in the park continued. At the gates of the park, Jerry told the passenger to pay, but she didn’t have the indicated amount. Jerry drove the woman to the police station. The sergeant who was sitting in the station did not meet Jerry for the first time. At first, in the usual tone of the complainant, Jerry turned to the sergeant, but the fog that had settled in the cafe had cleared and he introduced the sergeant to his wife, whom he married tonight.
Sitting in the carriage, Nora took a deep breath that she had such a wonderful time.
